Kuehne+Nagel has approved a new direct reporting line for its country organisations.

The change is expected to drive further efficiency gains and profitable growth for the logistics multinational that has a presence in more than 100 countries.

The new reporting structure will see less than one per cent of K+N’s workforce impacted, with the majority of these employees set to move to new functions within the company.

A spokesperson for K+N has sought to reassure employees, stating that the changes will not have a significant impact on the workforce.

"The changes we are implementing will affect less than one per cent of our employees, and the majority of those impacted will move to new functions within the company," the spokesperson said.

The new reporting structure is part of K+N’s ongoing efforts to optimise its operations and drive growth.

The company has been investing heavily in digitalisation and innovation in recent years, with a focus on developing new services and solutions for its customers.

The changes are expected to be implemented in the coming months, with further details set to be announced in due course.
