Seven foreign truck drivers have been detained and 14 trucks have been impounded.
The northbound truck was inside the OSBP’s control zone and was surrounded by other trucks.
The vehicle was travelling on the N1 near the Huguenot tunnel when police conducted a stop-and-search operation.
Three undocumented foreign drivers have been arrested after 260 trucks were stopped on the road.
Hazchem hauliers have been requested to redirect their trucks to alternative border crossings.
