Cape Town calls for input on road safety strategy

The City of Cape Town has called for public comment on its draft Road Safety Strategy, with submissions open until June 8.

The draft strategy provides a coordinated framework for identifying road safety priorities, guiding interventions and informing decision-making related to road safety planning, implementation and monitoring, the city said. “The previous Road Safety Strategy covered the period up to 2018. In order to ensure continued improvement and alignment with evolving needs, we are now developing an updated strategy that takes into account current conditions and emerging road safety challenges.”
