Transnet looks at partnership with Luanda

Transnet is looking beyond the borders of South Africa to build the region’s logistics capacity. Enhancing the capacity and efficiency of the Maputo Corridor and deepening co-operation with the Port of Maputo is one of the objectives spelt out in the latest annual report. The company is also intent on improving the efficiency of crossborder rail services and growing volumes on existing Southern African rail corridors. “Of specific importance will be the establishment of partnerships with regional ports.
