DaimlerChrysler threw the Port of East London a lifeline when the South African operation won the contract to provide right-hand-drive C-class Mercedes cars to the world market. The move saw the port living up to its advertised goal and reaching new heights, in line with the message on this sign along the Steve Biko highway into the city.
