Seychelles will become a fully fledged member – the 161st – of the World Trade Organisation (WTO) on April 26 this year.
According to a WTO statement, Seychelles applied for WTO membership in May 1995 and completed its application process on October 17, 2014. WTO members officially approved Seychelles' accession on 10 December 2014.
