South Africa has jumped three places on the Nation Brand Index and now stands at position 35 out of 50 countries (from a previous 38), said Brand South Africa in a statement.
The Anholt-GfK Nation Brands Index is published annually and is, according to the organisation’s website, the world‘s most “comprehensive global nation branding survey”.
Brand South Africa CEO Kingsley Makhubela said South Africa’s improved performance could be attributed to improved perceptions of governance, immigration and investment, and people.
