Unfortunately, many training providers in our industry continue to "train for the sake of training" without fully addressing the real-world challenges employees face in the workplace. At SA CARGO Training Academy, we’ve taken a different approach. We’ve designed training programmes that bridge the gap between theory and the realities of day-to-day logistics operations. Rooted in practical, on-the-job experience, our workshops are tailored to deliver value, not just certificates.
Our academy is proud to offer accredited qualifications that align with industry needs. We are now fully accredited for:
- SAQA ID 94025: Occupational Certificate – Transport Clerk (NQF Level 4)
- SAQA ID 110942: Occupational Certificate – Supply Chain Practitioner (NQF Level 5)
- SAQA ID 96371: Occupational Certificate – Road Transport Manager (NQF Level 5)
These are in addition to our existing qualifications:
- SAQA ID 96396: Occupational Certificate – Freight Handler (NQF Level 3)
- Assessment Centre Accreditation: Freight Handler Level 3 – enabling learners to complete their EISA exams on site.
Our programmes go beyond textbooks. Learners receive real, hands-on training within our operational environment, offering them a unique competitive advantage as they step into the workforce.
We are also expanding, subject to site verification; we aim to offer new qualifications, including:
- Truck Driver (NQF Level 3)
- Office Supervisor (NQF Level 5)
- Marketing Coordinator (NQF Level 5)
- Occupational Health and Safety (NQF Level 5)
- Basic Emergency First Aid Responder (Level 2)
