Road Freight Association talks trucking

There was some serious discussion and networking going on in Durban recently,when the freight industry turned out in numbers for the annual Road Freight Association (RFA) conference, titledHitting the Reset Button on the South African Trucking Industry. The prestigious event hosted seasoned pros, distinguished guests and an expert speaker panel. As always, fine dining was part of the two-day event, which concluded with a glitzy ball.Transport Minister Fikile Mbalula in the cab of an Iveco truck.MC Bongani Bingwa. Political analyst Ongama Mtimka. Chris Holdsworth, chief investment strategist at Investec Wealth and Investment. Pieter Vermeulen from Crossroads with Dave Behrens of the RFA. RFA board member Garth Bolton and his wife Karen dressed up for the welcome function. Several companies exhibited their products and services at the conference.
