We are now moving from the term 'Fat Cats' to a new domain termed 'Beached Whales'. Those that fight hard to obtain high positions to reach the category of being a 'Fat Cat' find themselves unwittingly but dubiously moving into the category of being a 'Beached Whale'. The 'Fat Cat' can still perform a reasonable function at a minuscule level without conviction, but once they enter the realms of being the 'Beached Whale', they perform no function at all. This is the root cause of our problem in SA - we are surpassing the domain of 'Fat Cats' and are moving rapidly to the stage of 'Beached Whales'. This phenomenon is taking place across multiple spheres. We are at the mercy of these 'Beached Whales' and until we eradicate this domain we will never reach a position to effect any positive change. As this domain begins to be exposed, we realise the true inequality that exists in our country and particularly within the government domain. This is dangerous for our country as it instils a state of unrest, and we know where this leads to. Anonymous
