Over a trillion USD in new planes for China in next 20 years

Boeing’s annual market outlook for China projects demand for 6 810 new commercial aircraft with an estimated total value of US$1.025 trillion over the next 20 years.

It predicted a single-aisle demand of 5 110 new aircraft, a wide-bodied fleet tripling in size with an additional 1 560 new aircraft over, and noted a continuing shift from very large aircraft to small and medium wide-bodied planes.

Boeing forecast a need for 180 new freighters and 410 converted aircraft, driven by China’s growing e-commerce business.
