New owner for PE container depot

Aqua Marine Container Depot in Port Elizabeth has a new owner following its purchase by Novagroup, the South African subsidiary of listed Spanish fishing, frozen foods and aquaculture multinational, Grupo Pescanova, via its container division. The move is in line with the company’s strategy to strengthen its service and supply presence in the SA shipping industry. The container depot division of Novagroup, United Container Depots, will now be operating out of six depots in the Southern African region - Johannesburg, Durban, Cape Town, and now Port Elizabeth, along with depots in Lüderitz and Walvis Bay in Namibia.
