Name change - it's official

Buffalo Freight Systems is officially no more. The company, now a part of the Unitrans Stable, this week launched its new name – Unitrans Freight Forwarding and Clearing at a breakfast in Johannesburg. Speaking at the name change ceremony, Standard Bank economist Michael Keenan said change should be embraced especially as much of it is expected in the economic sense in the coming months. Making forecasts on the rand and the growth of the country in the coming months, Keenan said while the picture was not as bright as it could be, it was, however, not all bad. “While it may seem quite gloomy we are not in the worst of situations. If we compare South Africa to the likes of Greece for instance then we are not in too bad a place."
