DP World London Gateway, due to open in the fourth quarter this year, has signed up its first customer, the consortium that operates the Southern Africa Europe Container Service (Saecs). The consortium will switch its UK port of call from Tilbury to London Gateway in November, with the first call due by the MOL Caledon on 7 November.
