THE SOUTH African branch of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers will for the first time host a meeting of the Institute’s controlling council on March 18 in Durban.
Members of the council will spend a week in Durban touring the ports of Richards Bay and Durban and meeting key industry, government and education officials.
Heading up the heavyweight group is president Bill O’ Neil who currently leads the team that is advising the Panamanian government on future development programmes for extending the Panama Canal.
