FTW deliveries – urgent feedback required

Since last year’s prolonged postal strike, Freight & Trading Weekly has been pulling out all the stops to ensure that our readers receive their copies timeously.

We found a great hand delivery solution with Media Support Services, a specialist independent newspaper delivery business.

“With this solution in place we converted approximately 3 800 postal addresses to street addresses in September,” says FTW publisher Anton Marsh.

“But physical addresses come with their own set of problems like security and delivery times. And some converted addresses fall out of the scope of the new delivery network which means they still need to be delivered to postal addresses,” says Marsh.

Based on feedback from readers, it seems that some postal copies are still not arriving regularly. If this is the case another option is available - to send the publication to a home address or alternative branch via the hand delivery system.

“FTW has spent a significant amount of time and money to ensure that readers are receiving copies of the publication,” said Marsh.

“If you are NOT receiving your weekly copy please let us know so that we can correct this.”

Email your name, company and telephone number to ftwpost@nowmedia.co.za with the subject line ‘FTW delivery feedback’.

Gauteng deliveries should arrive on Thursday or Friday for the issue dated that Friday, while Cape Town and Durban copies should reach readers on Friday or Monday.
