DOT LOGISTICS has issued a challenge to the freight industry to join its Shavathon on November 4 in support of the CANSA association. The event has special meaning for the company’s members, Michelle Rogers and Kelly Maritz, whose grandmother died of cancer earlier this year and after whom the company is named. “We decided to host a Shavathon in her memory and we therefore challenge the industry either to have their heads shaved or, if they are not daring enough, to have their hair sprayed,” said Rogers The event will be held from 09:00 to 16:00 at the company’s Jet Park premises and will cost R50 per shaving or spraying.
