The Minister of Trade and Industry, Dr Rob Davies, has called for public comment on one of the key action programmes of the Industrial Policy Action Plan (IPAP) guidelines – the Production Incentive component of the Manufacturing Competitiveness Enhancement Programme (MCEP). The programme provides enhanced support to manufacturers to upgrade their production facilities in a manner that sustains employment and maximises value-addition in the short to medium term. The guidelines are open for comment until April 20.
