Containers provide 'meals on wheels'

THERE APPEARS to be no limit to the number of innovative ways in which seafreight containers can be used to support projects in disadvantaged South African communities.
In a recent Safmarine Container Lines project, one 12 metre and two 6 metre boxes will be used as part of a larger structure to be used as a Meals on Wheels centre in Mitchells Plain, Cape Town.
The centre will also be used as a soup kitchen and a meeting place for elderly folk and for general welfare work.
