Cargo Info launches discussion forum

It provides an electronic open discussion platform that enables Cargo Info subscribers to present their industry-related enquiries to the more than 11 000 registered readers. At the time of writing, the latest query involved toy imports from China and the cost of distribution from Durban harbour. “While some of the queries are purely information related, others are lucrative leads,” says Cargo Info editor Philipp Pfeifer. Several industry sectors have been allocated from Black Economic Empowerment to airfreight, seafreight and roadfreight , and these will be extended in line with reader interest.
