FOR HAULIERS keen to minimise down-time caused by punctures, bullet proof tyre sealant could be the answer.
The sealant is pumped into the tyre, protecting it from sudden deflation by bullet or spike penetration. It keeps the vehicle fully mobile and allows it to be driven to safety.
It was originally developed in conjunction with the CSIR, SAPS and the SADF to prevent immobilisation caused by harsh terrain, weapons, fire and ambush.
A single tyre permanent application of 200ml on a small car or bakkie would cost R89.
