Are you detail orientated with a passion for logistics pricing? Our client is looking for a Pricing Controller to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1 to 3 years of experience in freight forwarding who enjoys negotiating rates, preparing quotations and working in a fast-paced environment. 

Duties:

• Obtain freight rates from shipping lines, airlines, co loaders and subcontractors.
• Negotiate competitive rates with service providers.
• Liaise with the customs department regarding HS Codes and duty confirmations when required.
• Acknowledge RFQs received from clients and provide regular updates throughout the quotation process.
• Prepare and generate accurate quotations using CargoWise.
• Ensure successful quotations are handed over seamlessly to the operations team for execution.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and clients.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a pricing role within clearing and forwarding (non-negotiable).
• Experience pricing import and/or export shipments. Exposure to both imports and exports across multiple transport modes would be advantageous.
• Sound understanding and working knowledge of Incoterms is non negotiable.
• Experience using CargoWise is preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation and organisational skills.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and manage multiple quotations simultaneously.
