  • Solid Microsoft Office skills — Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Detail-oriented to a fault
  • Warm, professional manner on the phone and in person
  • English fluency; Afrikaans is a plus
  • Logistics or freight experience is a bonus, but honestly, the right attitude matters more — we'll teach you the rest
  • Exposure to Sage Pastel or basic bookkeeping is an advantage
  • A qualification in Office Administration, Bookkeeping or Business Management is advantageous
Description:

We're a hands-on freight forwarding and clearing company based in Cape Town, and we're looking for someone special to join our team.

About the role

This is a mixed role — part office, part finance support — and it sits right in the middle of how we operate day to day. You'll be the first face people see and the first voice they hear. You'll keep our office running smoothly, manage our AEO Level 2 compliance administration, assist with POPIA record-keeping, and support our Accounts Controller with basic finance tasks.

Day to day that looks like:

  • Welcoming visitors and handling incoming calls
  • Maintaining our AEO compliance documentation, visitor logs and staff records
  • Keeping POPIA data handling protocols up to date
  • Basic HR admin on our SEESA platform
  • Capturing supplier invoices in Shipshape
  • Sending debtor statements, filing proof of payments and remittances
  • Helping pull together documents for bank credit applications and FNB Debtor Finance audits
