Our client, a globally recognised clearing and forwarding specialist, is on the hunt for a driven and successful sales professional to join their high-performing team in Cape Town. In addition to a competitive basic salary, you'll enjoy attractive benefits including a fuel card and cellphone allowance, as well as the opportunity to earn up to 20% commission on new business sales.  

Duties:

• Identify and secure new business opportunities within the clearing and forwarding sector.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
• Conduct client visits, presentations and solution-based sales meetings.
• Prepare and present proposals, quotations and service offerings.
• Negotiate rates and commercial agreements.
• Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
• Work closely with operational teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Maintain accurate sales activity and pipeline reports.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 - 5 years' external sales experience within clearing and forwarding (non-negotiable).
• Proven track record of securing new business and achieving sales targets (non-negotiable).
• Strong understanding of international freight, customs and supply chain solutions.
• Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle (non-negotiable).
