Stepping up…

Dachser South Africa celebrated the official opening of its new 3 000-sqm warehouse in Johannesburg last week. “Competition is getting fiercer, price pressure is increasing and we realised we needed to step up our service offering a notch by providing a full logistics centre,” said managing director Detlev Duve. He added that the new warehousing facility offered 3 900 pallet positions. “The branches in Durban, Cape Town and Port Elizabeth also offer warehousing space.” CAPTION Detlev Duve and Dachser Johannesburg branch manager, Sera Fineberg.
