EVERY YEAR the various seafarer missions operating in the port of Durban hold an Open Day service known as Sea Sunday, and this year is no exception.
The annual service, which is held along interdenominational lines in recognition of the seafarers and others who work in the port, will be held in the N-Shed passenger terminal on Sunday, July 11, and backed up by a military band providing the musical accompaniment.
The hour long service commences at 11:00 and will be followed by tea and snacks and a time for socialising. According to the chaplains they are looking to the maritime community of Durban for a good turnout. Everybody is welcome.
