Beyers Theron has been appointed acting chief officer, Customs & Excise.
He has until now held the position of executive: Customs and Excise Centre of Excellence.
Theron replaces Teboho Mokoena, who will return to his position as chief officer: human capital and development.
Mokoena took over the position in February following the resignation of previous incumbent Jed Michaletos. No official reasons were provided for the reshuffle.
