Port of CT gets ‘green’ light

RAY SMUTS
THE PORT of Cape Town has joined a handful of ports around that can boast ISO 14000 certification, an international standard for environmental management systems.
Mandisa Motha, NPA corporate affairs manager for the port, explains EMS is a structured framework that forms part of the management structure addressing the immediate or long-term impacts of a company’s products or services and processes on the environment.
