PE container depot sees significant growth

Five months since taking over as depot manager, Riaz Ismail is already seeing growth at the newly opened CHC Container Depot in Port Elizabeth. “We intend to grow our Port Elizabeth business extensively in the coming months. We have only been open for five months and already we can see that we are headed in the right direction and are very positive about what we have achieved so far.” Ismail, who has extensive experience in the container business, is up for the challenge of building up a container depot from nothing. Already, he says, the current facility of 5000 sqm will not provide enough capacity. “I believe we will outgrow this facility in a very short space of time. We have a major growth strategy in place and we hope to increase our capacity as we establish ourselves further in the market.”
