The Maputo Corridor
Logistics Initiative has
played a major role in
addressing border congestion
which impacts heavily on the
time-sensitive project cargo
industry, says MCLI CEO
Barbara Mommen.
“We all dream of a
situation where there is no
congestion,” she said. “Now
more than ever – as projects
increase and we operate
in this dynamic economic
situation in Africa – we
have to look at our border
bottleneck situation.”
She believes an innovative
and collaborative approach is
the way forward as the there
is no quick and easy solution.
