Non- traditional partners keen to invest

THERE HAS been an awakening of investment interest - principally from Malaysia and Singapore - in South Africa according to a Standard Bank foreign trade spokesman.

These countries have perceived opportunities for direct investment while traditional investing countries such as USA and UK have been holding back, he said.
