Kenya’s Administration Police (AP) officers manning border points have received 14 new patrol vehicles, according to news reports.
Kenyan newspaper, the Daily Star cited deputy inspector general of AP, Samuel Arachi, as saying that 200 officers had also just completed an eight-week training course on border patrol.
The second phase of AP officers' training on border patrol is set for February next year.
