Mike Brews has joined marine insurance specialists Associated Marine as chief operating officer based in Johannesburg. A B Com graduate, Brews started his career with Alexander Forbes in the 90s, holding positions in Cape Town and Johannesburg before opening a branch for International Marine in Johannesburg. The company was subsequently taken over by Kiln. Brews joined Associated Marine in May this year, taking over from Frank Ponnen.
