Alan Peat WITH TRADE between SA and Russia expected to grow following the granting of preferential duty rates to SA exporters to Russia, a trade mission is under development at Tradepoint Pretoria-Tshwane. “With these benefits in mind,” said mission leader Barry Vorster, “we have motivated a trade mission to Moscow - the financial hub of Russia - for SA companies wanting to access this lucrative market. “This mission is intended to highlight SA, and show its diversity from a tourist, cuisine and business perspective.” Companies wishing to participate must supply a full package of presentation material (printed and/or electronic) to the organisers for them to identify the correct business contacts to invite and to display at the SA exhibition in Moscow. Personal meetings with appropriate Russian contacts will also be organised by the trade mission team for those wishing to accompany the mission to Russia.
