KN sets up new logistics facility

Kuehne & Nagel has established a new logistics terminal at Duisburg in Germany.
The facility is situated on the strategically located Logport site on a
50 000sqm. plot with a total surface area of
24 800sqm.
The facility, which meets the most modern environmental and security specifications, was designed according to the product-specific requirements of the French Thomson-Group. The terminal serves as the central warehouse for Europe and is part of an integrated logistics and distribution network operated by Kuehne & Nagel for this customer in Germany, the Benelux countries, England, Scandinavia, Switzerland and Austria.
