Injured dockworker still recovering after accident at Durban port

A dockworker is still recovering in hospital after falling five metres into the cargo hold of a ship moored in the port of Durban yesterday (Thursday).

Police spokesperson, Major Thulani Zwane, was cited by news reports as saying that the worker had been hit by a large pipe, which swung around while a crane was hoisting it out of the hold. He reportedly sustained serious injuries.
