In response to market demand, members of the G6 Alliance announced an Asia–Europe service enhancement to improve the connection between Asia and Scandinavia.
It will also provide a better transit time from Antwerp to Asia.
This refers to the Loop 7 service with additional calls to Gothenburg and Antwerp., and with a new port rotation of: Qingdao–Shanghai (Yangshan)–Hong Kong-Yantian–Singapore–Rotterdam–Hamburg–Gdansk–Gothenburg–Antwerp–Southampton–Singapore–Yantian–Qingdao.
The G6 Alliance members are: APL, Hapag-Lloyd, Hyundai Merchant Marine, Mitsui OSK Lines (MOL), Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK) and Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL).
