INTEREST IN FTW’s recent ‘Women in Freight” feature (August 2008) extended well beyond the limits of the freight industry. SAFM picked up on one of the success stories – Manju Pather of Land & Sea Shipping (From ‘Girl Friday’ to company owner) – and featured her inspiring story in their “Otherwise – The Woman’s Perspective” last week. The article describes how she took the plunge and started her own business after working for John T Rennie & Sons for 27 years.
