AN INTERNATIONAL buyers and sellers meeting on food and beverages will be held in Durban from January 21 to 23 next year.

Organised by the International Trade Centre and Safto, the meeting is the third of its kind to be held in South Africa and the second for the food sector.

A meeting held in Johannesburg in June this year was attended by more than 80 African enterprises from 13 countries and resulted in orders under negotiation valued at US$47 million (R216m) according to Safto g.m. Liz Whitehouse.
