AEI HAS introduced an on-line logistics monitoring system that clients can use to track their goods from supplier to destination.

AEI quality manager Megan Hughes says the system tracks goods from pick-up point at the supplier to the aircraft or vessel onto which they are loaded, until their eventual destination.

About 40 airlines and a number of shipping companies participate in the system, loading data info onto computer as the goods move towards their destination.

Clients can monitor the movement of their goods and check to see whether AEI is doing all that it has promised, she says.
