Focus on Africa

Investment in local production facilities in Africa has paid off for Distell, according to the beverage company’s Jannie Fourie. “Our brands have travelled well into Africa over the past few years – and our investment in production facilities has made our value chains more competitive in the market.” Fourie said the focus for export growth at Distell for the foreseeable future would be Africa. “That does not mean we are not going to other places, but Africa is where Distell wants to be,” he said.
