Evergreen and MOL link Asia to South East Africa

Evergreen Line has joined Mitsui OSK Lines (MOL) in a slot-charter agreement linking Asia to Southeast Africa. The weekly service, called MZX (Mozambique Zuid Africa Express Service), left on August 11 from Tanjung Pelepas. MZX is operated by five ships in the 35-day transit route. The port rotation is: Tanjung Pelepas– Singapore–Port Louis– Durban–Maputo–Tanjung Pelepas. “MZX also enhances the shipping network around the Indian Ocean islands by extending service to the market of Southeast African landlocked countries,” an Evergreen spokesman said.
