THE ANNUAL Durban Festival of the Sea will be held from March 27 to April 5 and will be used to profile Durban and South Africa as a maritime research, trade, tourism and recreational destination as well as the gateway to the Indian Ocean Rim, says the Durban Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Seed financing for the event has been provided by Durban Metro and it is expected that a strong focus will be made on the activities of the port.
