China to establish five transportation universities in Africa

There has been “good progress” made on the establishment of five transportation universities on the African continent, said professor at Chang’an University in Xian, China, Yongli Xie, speaking at the Southern African Transport Conference (SATC) yesterday (Wednesday).

He added that China would also be exploring the possibility of establishing a China-Africa civil aviation school as well as building infrastructure for aviation ground services in Africa.
