KEVIN MAYHEW CENTRAL AFRICAN Logistics (CAL) is on an expansion drive with its Freightliner fleet set to grow from 45 to 58 vehicles this month (August). The company, which provides consolidations on all its routes, also offers comprehensive warehousing and bond store facilities. It serves Malawi, Mozambique, Zambia and the local South African market. Several well known distributors make use of its bonded and warehouse facilities and the company is currently exploring opportunities in the Botswana market, said South African manager Adrian van Niekerk. “Our affiliation with several large logistics providers allows us to service a larger market, including consolidations on all our routes,” he said. “The company has constantly updated its vehicle tracking systems and fleet controls to provide greater security and faster turnaround times as well as give clients full access and control of their loads through constant communication,” he added.
