Shipping and Freight Resource blog in association with CFR Freight and Shipwreckers is organising a blanket and donation drive to help the homeless in South Africa.
Hariesh Manaadiar, author of the blog and driver of the project, said that
CFR Freight had offered to be a collection point for such donations and would also distribute the blankets to the shelters.
Those attending the Shipwreckers Winter Social party, to be held on July 4 at The Sands in Sandton, can bring their donations to the venue where a collection area will be provided. A cash donation (minimum R50) can also made at the gate on the evening of the social.
