BEE company gets ISO accreditation

KAPELE FREIGHT and Logistics Services last week joined the 3 000 South African companies that have been granted ISO 9001:200 accreditation, achieving another milestone in its growth. Speaking at the company’s accreditation celebration last Friday, Adri du Plessis, operations manager, services at the South African Bureau of Standards, said that it was particularly encouraging to see a BEE company achieving this status. “Being ISO accredited is a mark that tells clients that they can expect world class service standards from us – whether these clients are in South Africa, or anywhere else in the world,” said Kapele CEO Joe Latakgomo. “In the end, while being a BEE company is important at this stage of the country’s economic development, we believe it is even more important that our clients receive the superior service that they expect.”
