Women drivers spell danger

FOUR OF Bulktrans’s women drivers have broken down barriers and become the first females to be licensed to transport dangerous goods on long haul routes. “The women have what it takes,” says Bulktrans training manager Zama Thusi. “They are competent and got their licences first time round.” "You can do anything as long as you have hope,” says proud new driver, Elsie Dlamini (34). She, along with Sindi Mbhele (24), Sindi Mzimela (29) and Thandi Khomo (31), have achieved their National Certificates in Professional Driving.
