DAVID WILLIAMS has been appointed managing director of Maersk South Africa. He officially takes over from Per Heisselberg on December 1. Currently the MD of Maersk Namibia, Williams has spent 16 years with the group. In a related development, Charles Collings has been appointed to head up operations and intermodal activities for South Africa.
