WHO investigates suspected Ebola outbreak in DRC

The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and the World Health Organisation (WHO) are investigating six suspected cases of Ebola in western Bandundu province.

Bloomberg news agency quoted WHO spokesman in the DRC, Eugene Kabambi, as saying that of the six cases, four have died after eating antelope caught near the village of Masia-Mbio in Bandundu, about 162 kilometres northwest of the capital, Kinshasa.

"Samples are being collected for laboratory analysis," Kabambi said
